About
Victoria Rungo has more than 43 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, personal injury, product liability, wrongful death, premises liability, elder abuse and toxic tort cases. She got her start as a paralegal when she was hired by a civil litigation firm while attending the University of San Diego.
It wasn’t until her move to Virginia Beach, Virginia that she was introduced to personal injury and criminal law. It was here she found her niche. Her compassion for people who were injured by other’s negligence was and still is the motivation for her dedication and tireless work on any case she’s involved in. Her curiosity and quest for “finding out why” makes her the perfect fit for complex personal injury law.
Victoria joined The Cartwright Law Firm in 1990. She has worked in the litigation department in law firms across the country, assisting with all aspects of cases from initial intake through trial. She is currently working as the lead managing paralegal at the Cartwright Firm and is the right hand paralegal to Mr. Cartwright, Mr. Yen and Mr. Ratto.
Her compassion spills over to animals as well. When a young, scared, pregnant dog was dumped in her neighborhood, she took her in and soon had a garage full of 11 puppies. She found loving homes for all but two of the pups, who now reside with their mother in Victoria’s home along with her other dog, a German Shepherd.
Outside of the office, Victoria’s interests include hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, and any activity that will keep her outdoors.
